Spring Break

Here is the sandcastle the boys worked hard on building.

Emma and Eli.

My brave, crazy boys!

Even Eli got in up to his waist. Very brave for a little guy.

Andrew jumped out just as fast as he jumped in!

Whoa! That cold water was a shocker!

Our kiddos.

Emma with her best buddy Grandma.

Emma being silly, doing a little dance.

Eli showing off some karate movies.

Riding the dinosaur with Grandma.

We were really looking forward to spring break this year. We all spent our fall break really sick. I'm almost positive we all had the swine flu. So, we had big, fun plans for our week off. Monday we stayed home and relaxed and then Monday night Andrew got sick. Followed up by every one of the kids. Headache, fever, sore throat. It was not very fun. We thought everyone was well Thursday, so we headed to Grandma's house for some fun. Emma got a fever half way through the day. That didn't stop her from enjoying time with Grandma! We spent the morning at the park. It was a hot day and the splash pad was not working. We headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and the boys were determined to swim. It was 85 degrees outside, but the pool was only 65. They were really brave to get it, but boy was it cold!!
Turns out our sickness lasted into the next week. Emma has strep throat. Thankfully the boys seemed to have recovered without a doctor visit. We're all hoping to stay well now. Five weeks of sick kids has done me in!
