Emma's Walking

Emma is now walking everywhere she goes. She started taking steps a few weeks ago and now she's all over! We can tell she loves being a big kid. She tries to follow her brothers around, but is still a bit slow for that. We can't believe our little baby is getting so big!

Let the Games Begin!

Soccer has started again for the fall. Although "fall" is a relative term here in Arizona. The first two games were very hot. I don't know how the boys did so well running around in this weather! Ethan's team is the Purple Pirates this year. So far, they are 2-0. Great start Ethan! Andrew's team is the Pirates too (just not purple:) Their record is 2-0 also. They have great coaches and players this year. We're having lots of fun and hoping the weather cools off soon.

All of the cousins

Here are all of the cousins, wearing their shirts that they made while we were there. I think making new shirts each year is the favorite activity of all the kids. They wear them over and over throughout the year.

Cousin's Camp

We had our 3rd annual Cousin's Camp this past weekend in Utah. Thanks to Jeremy's sister Aimee and her husband Greg for the great cabin we all stayed at! It was right outside Zion national park. Such a beautiful place! The weather was perfect and we had such a fun time. Jeremy's parents and all of his brothers and sisters were there. The boys were able to see all of their cousins. There are 10 cousins now and Ethan is the oldest. They had such a fun time playing with everyone. We went swimming, had a campfire, rode motorcycles, watched movies and played games. The four days we were there went by really fast. We wish we had more time with everyone!

Jacob Lake

On our way up to Utah for our annual "Cousin's Camp" we stopped at Jacob lake for a rest. We never actually saw the lake, but did find a really fun playground. The slides were old and steel. Probably the kind we played on as kids. The boys thought it was the best playground in the world! It helped to be surrounded by pine trees. It was so nice and cool. It was a great driving break.

A little Lamb history for you - Jacob lake was named after Jacob Hamblin, who was a well known pioneer and friend to the local Indians. He was Jeremy's great-great-great-great- grandfather. Pretty interesting!
