I find it hard to believe the summer is already over! I miss the carefree days of sleeping in and laying around in our jammies. I am looking forward to the cooler weather though. This summer heat is doing me in!
The boys were excited to go back to school. Ethan is in 6th grade this year. He's got 4 different teachers that he rotates through during the day. He really likes this schedule, he says it makes the day go by faster. Andrew is in 2nd grade. He is excited for his new teacher and of course that he is in the same class with his best friend. Eli started kindergarten this year. He was a little scared, but never cried. He rode the bus home the 2nd day. I am so proud of him! He is adjusting really well and having fun. He even allowed me to drop him off at the curb today and the boys walked him to class. He is growing up fast.
I have enjoyed spending time with Emma. We have spent MANY hours playing board games and puzzles. It's been fun (if you exclude Hungry Hippos. I can't stand that game!). She misses the boys, but I think she is loving all the extra attention.
