Organized!

Thanks so much to Jeremy for building a new dresser for the boy's closet. It's so nice to have room for everything all in one place. It makes being organized so much better. Yeah!

Undefeated!!!

We finished up the last soccer game of the season Thursday night. Ethan's team won their last game and finished up the season -- Undefeated! Yeah! They played great this year. He had a super team and an awesome coach. Last Saturday he scored the game winning goal in the last few minutes. It was very exciting.

Andrew's team did just as good. They only lost one game all season. They won again last night and Andrew scored a goal in the last quarter. He also had a super coach this year. We have had so much fun watching them play and seeing their improvement the past few months. Go Pirates!!

Eli and Emma had to bundle up last night. It was pretty chilly up there at the soccer field. It sure beats those hot Saturday games though.

Happy Birthday Emma!

Emma turned one this Sunday. How could a year have passed so quickly? It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home. She is turning into such a big girl. She's been walking for a few months and climbing like crazy. She has two bottom teeth now. Her favorite thing to eat is string cheese and yogurt. We had a family dinner for her and she finally has some "girl" toys to play with. She's been playing with trucks and transformers. She loves her purse from Aunt Kari and has been carrying around her baby doll all day. It was fun to have pink decorations and a pink cake.

Andrew's Party

We had a little party for Andrew Saturday afternoon after soccer games. He invited three friends to come over. We had lots of balloon games. Our water balloon toss turned into a full scale water war. The boys had a blast! Who would have thought you could have such a water balloon fight on November 1st?? It was super hot today, so it was great fun for the boys.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year. Ethan was Han Solo. He was very proud that one of the guys giving out candy knew who he was without asking. Andrew was a jedi for the second year in a row. Eli was Batman (again this year). Emma was Sister Bear from the Berenstain Bears. We have always called her Sister Bear, even before she was born, so it was fun to dress her up! We were able to trick her and she stopped pulling her ears off. She had fun getting candy, but all she wanted to do was eat a sucker. So, she spent most of the time in the stroller getting sticky.

We stopped at my parents first for dinner and to show them the costumes. Then we headed to Jeremy's grandparents for a quick visit, then off to trick or treat. All the boys were troopers, even after being tired from a long and busy week. All three ended up with a ton of candy. Let's hope they share!

Our Spooky Supper

For Halloween we headed to Grandma's house for dinner. As always, she had a special surprise waiting for us. We had a wonderful "spooky" supper. Ghost sandwiches, eyeballs, apple teeth, a watermelon brain and a graveyard. The boys loved it! Thanks Grandma for the great dinner!

Happy Birthday Andrew

It's hard to believe our baby is now six! Where has the time gone?? I feel like just yesterday we were bringing him home. He seems so grown up now. He could hardly wait for his birthday. He was waking me up at 6:30 this morning, ready for his presents. After breakfast and presents, it was off to school. He brought birthday cupcakes to share with his class. Andrew spent the afternoon listening to his new MP3 player and chewing his bubble gum from Dad. For dinner he got to pick his favorite place to eat - Panda Express. He ate enough orange chicken to last a week! The theme of the birthday cake this year was Transformers. I tried to make skyscrapers, with Transformers on them. Jeremy laughed at my "city" and said he thought I meant it to look like it had been destroyed! Oh well, I tried. At least Andrew loved it!
