Decorating Cookies

We love making Halloween cookies each year. We have such a fun time cutting out and decorating. Eli enjoyed eating his cookies as he was frosting them. Yum!

Goodmorning!

Emma woke up this morning with some crazy hair! I had to take a picture of her. We could not stop laughing. I think she must have wrestled in her sleep!

Fun at the Park

We headed to Grandma and Grandpa's this week for some fun at the park. Everyone loves the "rolly slide" park as they call it. There is a slide made out of rollers. It is the only place we have seen one like this and it is always the highlight of the trip. The weather was much hotter than it should be this time of year, but we still had a great time. We had a picnic at the park, then headed back to Grandma's for an afternoon of fun.

Emma loved the dogs and followed them around all day. Eli loved going up in the loft in Grandpa's shop and driving his Lightening McQueen car around. Ethan and Andrew played pool and dug in the sandbox for hours. To top off the day we roasted marshmallows over a fire. It was a great day!

Our Trip to the Cabin

We spent a three day weekend at Granny's cabin cleaning up the yard. Jeremy installed a new stove and microwave. Jeremy and his brothers worked really hard clearing old trees and brush. They made two trips to the dump with two trucks and a huge dump trailer. It looked very nice in the end!

Ethan accidentally came across a bees nest while he was picking up branches. He got stung on his arms, stomach and back. We iced him up, but it took a while for him to feel better. He was a trooper!

Andrew was a good helper picking up as well. He was promised Pokemon cards if he helped. He definitely earned them. He is a very hard worker.

Eli and Ethan painted rocks together. Emma enjoyed the pine trees and mountain air. We had fun collecting rocks and pine cones. The weather really cooled off and for the first time in months we were actually cold! It made our hot chocolate that much more delicious!

Eli's Shiner

Poor Eli bumped heads with Andrew while they were jumping on the trampoline. Andrew got hit in the back of his head, so not nearly as bad as Eli's eye. I think it looks worse in person. He is a pretty good sport about it though. That poor boy has had more bumps, bruises, and scrapes on his head than everyone else combined!

Popcorn Anyone?

There is never a dull moment with these boys around! They were having a snack and decided to see how much popcorn they could fit in their mouth's. They were laughing so hard, it was hard to tell who won. Silly boys!

Emma's Pigtails

Emma has some crazy hair. It's long on the top and short the rest of the way. I tried putting her in pigtails today. The boys thought she looked so cute! She is getting a bump on her gums. She might just have a tooth by her first birthday. She's got one more month to go, so we'll see. She is getting around really good and loves climbing on top of things. She is just as daring as her brothers!
